The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, has arrived in Kazan, Russia, to participate in the BRICS Summit, which will take place from October 22 to 24. This international event is set against a key backdrop for shaping a new economic and legal order at the global level.

Upon his arrival, the president was welcomed at the airport by the Executive Vice President of the Republic and Minister of Popular Power for Oil, Delcy Rodriguez; the Sectoral Vice President of Communication, Culture, and Tourism, Freddy Ñañez; the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Venezuela, Iván Gil; and the Venezuelan Ambassador to Russia, Jesús Salazar.

The summit, which will feature Russian President Vladimir Putin, will bring together representatives from over 30 countries from various regions, including Asia, Latin America, Africa, and the Middle East.
